Hey everyone! It's been quite a while since I've posted one of these outfit posts right? I was kind of inspired on the weekend, by the spring/summer weather and also by some Japanese-styled outfits on Vivi magazines. I think my outfit incorporates a lot of light and faerie colours which match my hair, as well as more childish elements to add that carefree and playful feel.
These days, I've been a bit busy with school and all my commitments. I've also been working on ALemon'sLife.com which I know I SAID WOULD come out late September, but it's already LATE OCTOBER ! GOSH I AM TERRIBLE! Anyway, everything is all set really but I'm going on camp next week and dealing with possible enquiries whilst I'm away will be difficult and not a great start for my shop, so I thought I'd launch it after camp (so 1.5 weeks? and I PROMISE IT WILL HAPPEN THIS TIME) Also, keep in mind, this launch is for a trial period, just so I can get a hang of the business field and sales! :)
Okay, back to the outfit now.
This season, I am really loving basic colour&high waist shorts as well as kooky headwear. Plus, no one can ever tarnish my love for thigh-high socks :D I find them perfect with almost anything! (except for jeans or pants, cos that's just weird)
Firstly, I wore a cropped, white top with owl patterning. I think this was from ValleyGirl for about $15 lol. I've also got on a pair of high waist, peachy orange shorts, which are loose and very comfortable. They've got a bit of delicate cutout along the hem of the shorts for a dainty, soiree type look. I was given these shorts from a family friend, who used to come over termly and give me hauls of Supré clothing. Finishing off my outfit, I've worn a sun hat, to reflect the summery feel, as well as thigh-high socks with fairy-patterns and some black and cream bow heels. These items were all from Taobao.com at pretty low prices ^_^
And just in case the weather turns cool, in the evenings, you can add a coat or anorak to create layers in your outfit! I love this dark green colour because it complements the peachy shorts well, evoking a vintage sense. I absolutely love outerwear like this at the moment and it's very popular in Korea right now. I just wish the weather turned cool enough so I could wear it more often :( I bought this coat in China, but I'm pretty sure any local shops would sell it.
Usually in summer, I hate wearing singlet tops, because I hate showing my bare arms! So this is a great outfit for me as it's cute and light to wear.
What are some of your fashion coordinates for the hot weather?
P.S Here is an extra photo of my fansign for the Gwiyomi Page on Facebook. They recently made me a model for their page, after I entered their model search competition. I'm very excited and happy to be working with them!
