Hey guys! So I recently posted up another Youtube Video on my channel 'Heylinni', reviewing the Etude House February Pink Box I received. It was all about the Give Me Chocolate collection, with an added bonus of an Etude House hot product: the Precious Mineral Any Cushion. I was so excited to receive it in time for my Valentine's Day look, where I spent the night with my friends for a birthday dinner :) Unfortunately, I filmed this video back in Feb but got heaps lazy with all the editing, so I didn't post it until 2 months later ahahha. So tragic. But luckily, it's out now! And I hope that you all enjoy watching it and hearing the recommendations and reviews of each of the adorable, interesting beauty products that they sent me :)
A quick little run through for each of the products, in case you couldn't be bothered to watch/finish watching the video:
1. Etude House Give Me Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette
There are 3 shades of the Etude House Give Me Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette: Cherry Truffle, Salted Caramel and Cacao Fudge. I received the Cherry Truffle and Cacao Fudge editions. They're very contrasting palettes, as Cherry Truffle is quite pinkish, flirty and cute, whereas Cacao Fudge seems a lot more sophisticated and dark. I really love the brown shades on both these palettes since they aren't your typical matte. They've added a little sparkle for an interesting texture. The Cherry Truffle pink is quite light though and doesn't transfer that well or show up great on the eyes, so I think it's best used subtly for a super natural look. I LOVE the glitter gold shade on the Cacao Fudge palette though. It's super vibrant and shimmery, adding heaps of sparkle and fun to your eye makeup. They're very small palettes though, as you could probably see in the video, with heaps adorable packaging. I haven't had a go of the Salted Caramel yet, but I'd love to since I love eating salted caramel (no relevance) and it seems like the perfect mix between the two shades I received. Maybe next time!
2. Etude House Give Me Chocolate Nail Polish
The Etude House nail polish collection is MASSIVE and these are just the latest editions to that huge range of colours and shades. These colours are part of the Give Me Chocolate range, and they're all largely based on the look of chocolateeeee :) They honestly look good enough to eat, and they smell it too! I received 3 shades of this line; the mint chocolate trip, the reddy brown chocolate and the regular milk brown chocolate colours. They're quite watery and easy to apply. The best thing about Etude House Nail Polish though is the super fast drying times for these. It means that my nails don't smudge too badly and look gross, or I don't have to be incapacitated for like 40 minutes after applying nail polish just waiting for my nails to dry (this seems to happen a lot with other polishes). Next, I want to get the white polish, because it looks so chic and clean - love it :)
3. Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion
And finally, I also got the Precious Mineral Any Cushion, which is one of Etude House's most innovative products and most popular as well. This is a true classic - the start of a huge line of cushion foundations that ranged from the Lock n Summer edition, Christmas edition, Magic Any Cushion etc etc. I've reviewed them all, so just click on their respective links to find out how I felt about each of those! This one comes in 3 different shades, as you can see above. I reckon I'm most like the Natural Beige, but Light Beige could work to lighten my skin tone as well, so we'll see how it goes :D
